Former Sunderland player Michael Gray believes Jobe Bellingham has the potential to be as good as Jude Bellingham at the top level. The
former Black Cat defender also believes the club’s young midfielder is inevitable to leave the club – even if he wants him to stay.
Speaking to Betfred about Bellingham, Gray was asked whether the youngster would make an instant impact if he moved to Manchester United amid strong links with Old Trafford.
“I’d say yes, because he’s an exceptionally talented player who has got a lot to learn,” Gray said.
“One thing I would look at is the outstanding performance of Amad Diallo when he came to Sunderland on loan. “
